CrossLeft Presents: Kety Esquivel and PeaceSong

Today’s show will be the first in a series that I’ll sprinkle through the shows over the coming months. We’d like to introduce you to the folks who currently form the CrossLeft Leadership Team and give you an idea of why each of us has become involved in this movement. Today’s episode will introduce you to Kety Esquivel, the Executive Director and founder of CrossLeft. Kety’s vision got this whole train moving and I speak for multitudes when I say that we’re all enormously grateful for that vision and her leadership. Our featured musician today, Mark Foley and PeaceSong, has performed for United for Peace and Justice, WESPAC, the Theatre Against War Freedom Follies and the Social Justice Ministry of the Riverside Church in New York. Mark Foley's recordings have aired on public radio nationwide. He has also performed on VH-1(MTV Networks).
And so, CrossLeft proudly presents, Kety Esquivel and PeaceSong.

Many thanks to the PeaceSong for today’s music and to Kety Esquivel for her leadership, vision and her words. You can find out more about PeaceSong, free downloadable mp3's and information about the music at http://www.peacesong.com. You can find Kety on our CrossLeft homepage at http://www.crossleft.org.
